About the Piece
While not a North Carolina feature, this is a piece that garnered interest amongst many for its sale. I could never part from the original, but decided to instead offer prints. Congaree National Park is not rated highly as a must visit park due to its often flooded landscape and views that require a steady, close eye for its appreciation versus other certain National Parks where upon mountain tops, you can see for miles.
There is beauty in this park and its habitants. Its unique ecosystem as one of the last existing on Earth is a sight to behold, and I am happy to offer prints for others to appreciate it’s unique beauty. I hope it can inspire those as well to visit and support this delicate ecosystem at risk to being lost forever as pressures grow from outside it’s protected borders.
