When sourcing manufacturers, I look for 3rd party certifications such as it being a certified B Corporation or OEKO-TEX certified for fabrics, whether or not the product is recyclable or made with recycled materials, and also consider in general how transparent the manufacturer is in their business practices. I prioritize sourcing USA Manufacturing when possible to ensure sustainability and a low Carbon footprint.
