Hi, I’m Skyeler!

Smoky Morning Co was created out of not just the desire to take control of my creative efforts, but to make purpose out of them in a meaningful way. Asking, “how can I put my art in the world, and still make a meaningful difference while selling it”.

It wasn't until I was having a discussion with my friend about boba themed keychains and telling her to consign those in Boba Shops that I had my lightbulb moment:

WHAT IF- I design and make coffee and wildlife themed products, and consign them with local coffee shops? Donating a portion of profit to conservation efforts across the state? I already draw animals, and have a borderline addiction to coffee. Nothing could be more perfect.

The mission would to be to get people to explore local coffee shops across the state–one of my FAVORITE things to do on day trips to state parks, partake in learning about and directly contributing to wildlife funds in a fun and engaging way, and buy products inspired by and related to coffee and animals (the two most important aspects of my creative process).

And so, Smoky Morning Co was born. Products created with local coffee shops and communities in mind, serving good ole wildlife propaganda.

Thank you to my friend Krystal who sparked this idea, my boyfriend Eric, and all my other friends and family who let me ramble about my insane endeavor to add a little bit of good to the world.
